What is the best guitar for rock n roll?

I’m looking to buy a guitar that has the best rock and roll sound ex: The Who , Led Zeppelin , ACDC , that crisp sound , is the Stratocaster , Led Paul , Help me out here

Buy a Gibson Les Paul and you should be set. Once you save up enough to get a 2nd guitar, buy a Fender Strat with 60s pickups and you’ll get all the sounds you want between the both of them.

Fender is crap. The Fender’s you see on stage are expensive custom jobs, not off the rack stuff we buy. Gibson is OK, but really pricey. Go with Ibanez, Jackson, PRS or Carvin. All are top-notch axes.

John D has a point Carvin is hard to beat, I like the Parkers’ too but they’re pricey. PRS is supposed to give you a fender or gibson sound. Santana seems to like PRS. See what the guitar players you like play and go from there.
