"Let it Be" by the Beatles.

When I find myself in times of trouble
    Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
    Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
    Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

i like to listen to taste of ink by the used its kinda old. or speed of sound by coldpaly. i don’t really know that many soft bands though because most of the stuff i listen to is hard but if your looking for soming calm listen to like a christain station. even if your not christain still do it it kinda calms you down. but you don’t have to do anything you dont want to do though. enigmas good too.

I don’t use rock to settle down with….not that there aren’t times when I find loud screaming R & R FUN!!!

I DO use New Age. The New Age stuff I use is mostly nature sounds and stuff like that. "The Sea" is a good three album set of the ocean with your choice of the ocean with flute, or with piano or with poetry. Enigma is GREAT! Enigma’s FIRST album is the BEST!!! Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells ALBUM is good to relax by, too. And I find that my favorite Contemporary Native American music to be quite calming. My favorite Native American Music comes from a couple of albums called Sacred Spirits and Sacred Spirits II.

    Blessings to you! GOOD LUCK

I listen to rock when i wanna get WORKED UP!

hmmm. rock to calm down. let me see… maybe Dire Straits, they almost put me to sleep. Elvis Costello in his mellower moods.

Oh, how about The Cowboy Junkies, they’d be good.

U2 can be soothing, some of their slow songs are very spiritual in their feel and in the lyrics.
