Its different but you may well like the Sounds of Silence album (simon and garfunkel). Lovely stuff.
AH flash of inspiration – The Lovin’ Spoonful so close in some ways to the Kinks. I think you’ll love them.
Also – Mamas and the Papas, the Young Rascals.
Difficult cos the Kinks were very unique. No British band like them.
