But most music nowadays, to me is very complicated and very messy.

It’s interesting … It’s interesting how Peter, Paul and Mary tended to be sooooo much better in their live performances than they were in their studio recordings, which were sometimes bland and sanitized. There’s an energy, life and spontaneity in the live videos, including this one, and more complex rhythms and harmonies, than I ever heard on their LPs. It’s great to hear/see these online.

Mary Travers was a hottie back in the day. She passed away in September after a brief battle with leukemia. She was 71 or 72.
