    Bowie sings backup on the studio recording. Not sure it’s ever been officially admitted. Ronnie Wood also played guitar, but apparently that was erased (!)
    I have always suspected Lennon is also on the track. In my dreams I imagine another promo where Bowie and Lennon both appear with acoustic guitars.

    I wonder if this version is the real Stones. I hear an acoustic in this version, just like the original. Maybe it was another cut recorded at the same session.. The original (the one off the album, which is also the single) had Ron Wood on acoustic and Kenny Jones on drums.
