And impacted the social order of modern culture?

(I am doing a project for my rock and roll history class, and I have to answer the question above, and gather a bunch of information on the rock artist/band/genre, and put it all together to make a magazine.)

P.S it can’t be Elvis, Bob Marley, Eminem, or 2pac. Those are taken.

Led Zeppelin
BoB Dylan
Chuck Berry
Robert Johnson
….n u think 2pac and Eminem influenced rock n’ roll?WTF?

I think that Rock and Roll started of course with the Blues — or more specifically the Mississippi Delta Blues ! A very impactful band that was heavily influenced by this was of course Led Zeppelin and one of their main influences was Robert Johnson – a Delta Blueman who allegedly sold his soul at the Crossroads for fame and the ability to play the blues. These themes do run thru a lot of Led Zeppelin’s music — adding not only a Blues theme but also that dark undertone that runs rampant thru their music.

The Blues (genre) influenced rock music. Also the collaboration of Run DMC and Aerosmith closed a bridge between rock and rap.
