- Bob Dylan hearing a Woody Guthrie song for the first time

- Bob Dylan introducing the Beatles to marijuana

- Elvis Presley’s ‘67 Comeback Special

- the bagpipe solo in "It’s A Long Way To The Top" by the Mighty AC/DC

- Nirvana releasing the single "Smells Like Teen Spirit," signaling the death of hair metal
