@xz632 , Rick Nelson sold millions of records and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as is his Lead guitarist James Burton. This is the type of music us white boys proudly listened to in the 50s and 60s. We listened to black R and B artists also such as Fats Domino, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Clyde McPhatter, Chuck Berry and others. I don’t think you crossed the race line and listened to white artists, did you?

    I’ll be tuning in, Greg.

I interviewed Zappa during the Billy The Mountain tour. He was out of sorts and took frequent slugs from a huge bottle of Milk of Magnesia. Flo and Eddie were taking frequent slugs from a huge bottle of Jim Beam. The latter were arrested after the show on obscenity charges. (They undid their belts, dropped to their knees and waggled the ends suggestively in the faces of the girls in the front row.) Good fun was had by all!
