there is a lot! what genre?
I like anything by Apocalyptica.
Blooddrunk by Children of Bodom.
Ultra Beatdown – Dragonforce (haha couple of those songs)
Death Magnetic – Metallica
Psychosocail – Slipknot
I love my Kinks and have been listening to their Best Of record all morning.
What are some other good Rock and Roll songs that are melancholy without being haunting; ones that sound like a quiet gray rainy day that is just quiet and calm.
Thank you!
"About You" by The Jesus & Mary Chain
"Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley (original by Leonard Cohen)
"Old Friends" by Simon & Garfunkel

I was wondering if someone can post some classic rock and roll songs, that are in German. At least some popular bands, and I don’t want heavy metal, just classic rock and roll like the beatles. Even if a band has only recorded a few in german, like the beatles I would love that too.
This one’s a classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWSJ__UmHhc
I wanna know popular rock and roll songs or singers, some where between 2008-2010.
I don’t want heavy metallic or something lame. I want soft rock and roll please.
Thanks in advance.
Try Modest Mouse
or…
Arcade Fire
The Flaming Lips (softer)
The Strokes
Arctic Monkeys
these are all pretty big bands, all of them are categorized as "alternative or indie"
