i heard this song on 92.9 KISM seattle and i can’t figure out what its called or who sings it, It isn’t rock and roll by led zepplin and its not motley crue but its in that sort of genre. Its a high voice and it says soemthing than Rock and roll! – thankyouu!
All I can think of is
‘Rock and Roll’ ~ Gary Glitter (either ‘part 1′ or ‘part 2′)
what song has the chorus "rock and roll" in a fairly high voice, its an older rock and roll song.?
Led Zeppelin- Rock And Roll
Led Zeppelin’s “Rock And Roll”, their 2nd song on their album, “Led Zeppelin IV”.
LYRICS
Its been a long time since I rock and rolled,
Its been a long time since I did the stroll.
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back,
Let me get it back, baby, where I come from.
Its been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
Yes it has.
Its been a long time since the book of love,
I cant count the tears of a life with no love.
Carry me back, carry me back,
Carry me back, baby, where I come from.
Its been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
Seems so long since we walked in the moonlight,
Making vows that just cant work right.
Open your arms, opens your arms,
Open your arms, baby, let my love come running in.
Its been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.

New pop or rock and roll song suggestions for remembrance day.?
They have to be pop, contemperary or rock and roll and they have to be either new or 80’s where most people know the song.

Have you heard the new Kid Rock song Roll On?
My husband has always been the Kid Rock fan in our house. I’ve liked a few songs here and there and I thought his live perfermance was really good. The guy knows what he’s doing and can put on a show (I’ve been to a few concerts that the band could not play live well at all.)
Anyway, I just came across his newest album (not sure when it came out, I’m guessing recently since there’s a new tour right now.) This album is so different than his other stuff and I just love it.
Has anyone heard Roll On? You can hear the whole song at his website. It’s my new favorite song it’s so good. What are you opinions of his new stuff?
Thanks for letting me know it’s out. I’m so behind on that kind of stuff these days LOL! Now I can go by the whole album!!!
I don’t know who’s giving the thumbs down. If you don’t like Kid Rock then don’t open this question up!
Yea its good the cd has been out a while. I think its his best cd. I love his ballads a lot better than his rap
What was the rock and roll song at the end of tonight’s bones?
Umm… the date is April 16th, I don’t know the title of the episode, it just aired today, but if you could give me the title of the song, I would greatly appreciate it.
I think it was something by Jameson

David Bowie – Rock n Roll Suicide
one of the best Bowie Tracks if not THEEE best.
Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, then you forget
Ohhh how how how, youre a rock n roll suicide
Youre too old to lose it, too young to choose it
And the clocks waits so patiently on your song
You walk past a cafe but you dont eat when youve lived too long
Oh, no, no, no, youre a rock n roll suicide
Chev brakes are snarling as you stumble across the road
But the day breaks instead so you hurry home
Dont let the sun blast your shadow
Dont let the milk float ride your mind
Youre so natural – religiously unkind
Oh no love! youre not alone
Youre watching yourself but youre too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if I could only
Make you care
Oh no love! youre not alone
No matter what or who youve been
No matter when or where youve seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
Ive had my share, Ill help you with the pain
Youre not alone
Just turn on with me and youre not alone
Lets turn on with me and youre not alone (wonderful)
Lets turn on and be not alone (wonderful)
Gimme your hands cause youre wonderful (wonderful)
Gimme your hands cause youre wonderful (wonderful)
Oh gimme your hands.

I’m looking for a 70’s classic rock and roll love song but not just any song?
I’m looking along the lines of Eric Claptons Let it Rain or America’s You can do magic. I want a good rock and roll song, up-beat not one of those drag broken heart slow songs. I’m willing to take any suggestions from any era.
Let Your Love Flow by the Bellamy Brothers.
I also gave thumbs up to MTB & Extreme.

What is a simple rock and roll song to play as an entire band? (Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals)?
I am forming a band and need a song to start out with and is easy to play (we aren’t very good YET). We need songs that can be payed with Drums, Guitar, vocals and bass and is VERY easy for all members (especially for the guitarist).
Okay, so…I’m guessing that you would like a song that is fairly well-known?
In that case, I would suggest Green Day’s "Brain Stew." It has a very simple chord progression which is repeated throughout the song. Other songs that come to mind are the All-American Rejects’ "Dirty Little Secret," Nirvana’s "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and the Ramones’ "Blitzkrieg Bop."
Good luck starting your band, and I hope this answer helped!
