I always thought that John was playing the piano on this one, but I read recently that it was actually George Martin — I could have sworn that I had seen a video once with them performing this live and John playing the piano and doing that slide with the elbow thing — but I can’t find it anywhere….
John’s best known … John’s best known work may be Imagine, but when he wanted to…man he could rock. What a testament to their talent in that they could not only match the performances of there heroes, but actually make the songs better. Now that’s a great band!!
