Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby – The Beatles

Well they took some honey from the tree, dressed it up and they called it me.
Everybody’s trying to be my baby, everybody’s trying to be my baby,
Everybody’s trying to be my baby now.

Woke up last night, half past four,

Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby
Wicked woman knocking at my door.
Went out last night, I didn’t stay late,
Called her home, had a nice teen date.

The Beatles gave credit to Carl Perkins and Elvis as influences along with records they got off canard ships coming back from the Amereicas. Look at the early songs. You are right.

Sorry saorsa64, your just plain wrong. The founding fathers of rock and roll started it all. If it wasn’t for them, The Beatles would of been totally different if not non-existant. Just accept the fact that the founding fathers rule. Case closed.
