When I first saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show it was love at first sight for George Harrison. Now,46 years later(is it possible it has been that long?) I shamlessly admit that I am still head over heels for George…. Love has no limits in time or space. God Bless you George!

Carl Perkins original version was on his “Teen Beat” album released in 1958. The Beatles covered two other songs off that album as well. Matchbox, and Honey Don’t.

{screetches to a dead stop} I’ll give credit where its do, but to go as far as to think that if those other musicians determined whether or not the Beatles would have still been….c’mon, they had alot more influences than that…….they would have still happened……and besides, they actually influenced rock as we know it. imagine metallica,ozzy, or any other rocker with short clean cut elvis hair styles….lol! kudos to ALL founding musicians of rock….including the BEATLES! 8-D
